Q: How much does an apartment move in Vilnius cost?

Two movers and a van – €65/hour excl. VAT, two-hour minimum. A one-room apartment with lifts usually takes 3 hours (€195 excl. VAT), a two-room 3–4 hours, a three-room walk-up 5 hours with three movers (€475 excl. VAT). These are worked examples; we give the exact price for your addresses.

Q: How many boxes does a two-room apartment need?

Usually 25–40 standard boxes (60×40×40 cm). Use smaller, sturdier boxes for books and wardrobe boxes for clothes on hangers. We can deliver boxes in advance and take back unused ones.

Q: Do I have to pack myself?

No. Book packing together with the move – the work is charged at the same hourly rate, materials per the price list. If you pack yourself, label boxes by room and pack fragile items separately.

Q: What if the sofa does not fit through the door or the stairwell turn?

Tell us the stairwell width and sofa dimensions in advance. Usually we solve it by removing legs or doors; if it still does not fit, we lift with a crane truck through the balcony (€60/hour), agreed before the job.

Q: Can you move in the evening or at the weekend?

Yes, by prior arrangement. Evenings from 17:00, weekends and public holidays carry a 1.5 multiplier – two movers with a van cost €97.50/hour excl. VAT.

Q: Do you remove old furniture at the same time?

Yes – €30/m³. A sofa or wardrobe usually takes 1–2 m³. Tell us in advance so we plan space in the van.

What an apartment move includes

The hourly rate covers the crew, the van and all carrying – from the old door to the new rooms.

Carrying out from any floor

With or without a lift. For a fifth-floor walk-up we suggest a third mover (€30/hour) – the job finishes faster and cheaper than with two.

Furniture disassembly and assembly

Wardrobes, beds, tables, kitchen units. Screws go into labelled bags so reassembly at the new place takes less time.

Packing and materials

If you run out of time, we pack dishes, books and clothes. Box €2.30, wardrobe box €35, stretch film €12/roll.

Appliances

Fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers – we disconnect, protect the corners and transport upright so the compressor survives.

Carrying into the rooms

Items go where you say, not by the door. Boxes labelled by room are distributed straight away.

Removal of old items

An unwanted sofa or wardrobe goes on the same trip – €30/m³. No separate booking or second vehicle.

What determines the price of an apartment move

You pay for time, so what matters is how long it takes. These five things change the duration more than the number of rooms.

Floor and lift at both addresses: a fourth-floor walk-up adds about an hour for two movers.

Distance from the door to the van: in the Old Town and closed courtyards we arrange the closest possible access in advance.

Number of boxes and whether they are labelled by room – labelled boxes are carried in twice as fast.

Furniture that needs disassembly: a mirrored wardrobe or a bed with drawers – 20–40 minutes each.

Timing: evenings from 17:00, weekends and public holidays carry a 1.5 multiplier.
